Review this love story? Ok, so i have the beginning of a love story all planned out in my head. GIRL orphaned at age 5 and has to live with her aunt who barely has any experience with children. To get out of the house SHE becomes best friends with her next door neighbor who is a boy. He is an imaginative thinker, but very clumsy, SHE a tom-boy, witty, has a sharp tongue. They are bothe very determined and smart. SHE has the best time with him playing pranks on thier gouchy neighbors, playing make-believe, and talking about life in general etc. Basically they grow up together and he's always there to protect her from anyone trying to take advantage of her. THIS IS WHERE I START THE STORY : SHE is now 12 and, SUddenly, her aunt says they have to move away to some other state. [this is the part i cant find a reason for (help?)] SHE cries and begs not to move, but it happens eventually. SHE goes through life without her best friend, but she's the most intelligent in her classes. SHE gets accepted into NYU, but decides to begin a semester late. reader's dont know this, but the boy also goes there and also has a girlfriend. just recently, his gf dumped him, drops out of college, and SHE gets his old gf's dorm. Late at night, a couple days after SHE moved in, he sneaks through the window, hoping to make up with his gf. SHE is terrified, thinking shes being robbed or even raped. she screams, but he still thinks she is his gf and tells her,I know you're still mad but i really needed to see you. SHE hits him in the head with something hard and he gets knocked out. SHE thinks he's dead, but he isn't...examines his face and reallizes who he is when she turns on the light. ----this is all i have so far, NO IDEA how to get past this part in the plot. what should happen next? they eventually fall in love, i have some ideas for that, but i cant think of any problems that arise after he sees her. any ideas? no fantasy/far-fetched things unless they are REALLY interesting and hevent been used before. THANKS! |
